It is so very hard to say, "never again," because it always does.

The fact that your son, Jeremiah, is growing up in this world must leave you pause, but then, I know my parents worried about H-Bombs and such, but I am sure Jeremiah will be well equipped to deal with hazards yet unknown, as you are a spectacular and brave woman, with the heart of a lion.

But yes, it does still hurt and I believe it is meant to; if it didn't then I believe our moral compasses would be skewed. All we can ever do is try to live by the things our hearts tell us are true. And we know never to let go of that. Thank you, dear, dear lady. Love to you and Jeremiah. On September 11,2001, I was living just out...Mary,

On September 11,2001, I was living just outside Yellowstone National Park, in a 30 foot travel trailer. I had a 9 day old son.

My tears fell on his newborn face; for me, the towers falling and Jeremiah's birth have always been wound together.

What I do to create a better world is to live one. I learned ways to stop repeating the pattern of abuse that ran through my family history.

I am offering the world not only the best peace I can learn in my life, but also two people who are whole and thriving and peaceful.

Maybe it's less than a drop, but it is something I can do, and, even if it doesn't change the world in any significant way, it does make right here, right now, much sweeter.

Maybe, if enough people do that, it can change the world...Shan Jeniah Burtonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01757607146774769663noreply@blogger.com
